• Air
    • Agility
      Self-buff for dex. Get it and use it.
    • Arrow Shield
      Self-buff for arrow defense. Not too bad, you should get it and use it.
    • Ball Lightning
      Use on mobs to train air magic. Cheapest bolt and drains stamina. Okay for starters in pvp if you dont have arrows.
    • Come Hither
      Neat spell that pulls people towards you. High utility. Get it and level it.
    • Exploding Charge
      One of the best R90 nukes. Big AOE, scary, noisy and drains stamina. Get it and train it.
    • Lightning Shield
      Self-buff lightning shield. You might use this occasionally.
    • Lightning Weakness
      For mobs you are casting ball lightning on. Not useful in pvp.
    • Stormblast
      My favourite utility/movement spell. So much fun. Goes up by casting it anywhere.
  • Arcane
    • Hasten Spells
      Amazing self buff. Train it. Doesn't stack with item casting speed bonuses so don't use those.
    • Holy Shield
      May as well have this but you won't use it much.
    • Holy Weakness
      Used to weaken mobs you are training sacred missile on but really not useful.
    • Lend Mana
      The best way to raise arcane. Find a partner casting it back on you. Useful in support pvp/pve.
    • Reflect Spell
      Fantastic spell both defensively and offensively if used correctly.
    • Sacred Missile
      The arcane bolt. Most expensive bolt in the game. Good for mobs.
    • Virtuous Wrath
      A great R90 nuke. Get the lightning one and this OR the necro one, but not both.
    • Wall of Force
      Known as 'bubble'. Fantastic spell with tons of utility.
  • Earth
    • Acid Arrow
      Use against mobs to train earth magic.
    • Acid Shield
      Might use this later but not really, still it's good to own.
    • Brawn
      Certainly get this and use it all the time.
    • Impale
      Great ray. Train this. It does arcane damage going through most armor.
    • Ironskin
      Great buff other. Increases melee / archery protections by a lot.
    • Pungent Mist
      Great ray and blind. Does acid damage. Train this for sure.
    • Stamina Leech
      Casting time ray. Although leeching stamina is useful at times and this is the best leech.
    • Tarnish
      You might use this on mobs you are training acid arrow on to do extra dmg. You wont use it on players.
  • Fire
    • Dragonbreath
      People usually have high fire resists but this is a decent ray spell since it's a little blinding.
    • Explosion
      Movement spell. Can be tricky to use. Good in water (bubble ahead of you, begone into it, and explode as you hit the bubble)
    • Fire Shield
      Of all the magic shields this one is the best since you are guarenteed someone will use fire on you.
    • Fireball
      The only r50 spell worth using because of the knock back.
    • Firebolt
      Good in pve to raise fire magic.
    • Haste
      The best buff other spell in the game, imo.
    • Impetus
      Self-buff quickness. It is definitely something you want.
    • Inferno
      Good when it is surging, otherwise a little lackluster. It has a nice knockback though but it's slow.
    • Magma Storm
      Fantastic. On it's own cooldown. Ultra long range. Huge knockback. Decent damage.
    • Rapid Shot
      Haste for archers. Another good support spell.
    • Volcano
      An okay field AOE. Shakes the screen. Bad against armored players.
    • Weakening Blaze
      Fire debuff. Only useful in pve and even then...
  • Greater
    • Begone
      Best movement spell in the game. Get this to 100.
    • Confusion
      Very useful blind. Get this to 100.
    • Heal Other
      One of the two heal other spells. Get this to 100.
    • Infliction Shield
      Protects you against poison and bleed damage. Kind of useful.
    • Insight
      Wisdom buff. Great for crafting.
    • Rend
      Some people love this. I never use it. But it's something to raise GM with when you max the others.
    • Shrapnel
      Buy this. Don't hit anything with it but yourself though you dont want to raise it. Movement spell.
    • Telekenesis
      Low end utility spell for getting up big walls. Get to 50.
    • Unburden
      Absolutely essential if you are a destroyer. Otherwise you won't use it.
    • Venom
      Some people like this more than rend. I still don't like either but I had to mention it.
  • Lesser
    • Burden
      Doesn't last long and it's hard to hit people with but really screws up armored players.
    • Heal Mount
      Pretty essential but I would let it train mostly on its own.
    • Heal Self
      Useful and free. Get it to 100.
    • Health to Mana
      Essential transfer spell. Costly to raise. It will go up in time.
    • Launch
      Low end wall jumper. Level to maybe 50 but I wouldn't focus on this too much.
    • Mana Missile
      Garbage but a good way to start your lesser leveling so most people have it to 100.
    • Mana to Stamina
      Essential transfer spell. Costly to raise. Don't be cheap about its use since you need to train it.
    • Stamina to Health
      Your core heal spell. Costly to raise. Use it whenever you need it to raise it.
  • Necromancy
    • Cursed Bolt
      Necro bolt. Good against mobs. Good against players. I recommend this one.
    • Desecration
      Unholy debuff. Can be used against mobs you are training cursed bolt on otherwise useless.
    • Eye Rot
      One of the primary offensive blinds. Get it and train it.
    • Infernal Shield
      You'll probably use this self buff.
    • Piercing Weakness
      Good if you're going to dagger kill something or archer kill something.
    • Slashing Weakness
      Another good debuff for swords and axes in pvp or pve. The best melee armor debuff imo.
    • Undeath
      Makes big monsters regen slower. Can be useful in some cases but I wouldn't focus on it.
    • Unholy Caress
      Necro ray spell. It's okay but not the best.
    • Unholy Flames
      Get this or virtuous wrath in arcane. I wouldn't get both.
    • Vampiric Touch
      Health drain ray. Has a casting time making it harder than most rays to use. It's so so.
  • Spell Chanting
    • Adept
      Good if you're a destroyer. The best way to raise spell chanting to 30.
    • Max Health Bonus
      A good self buff. It will be a while before you get it though.
    • Max Mana Bonusv A so-so self buff. Use it to raise spell chanting but don't spend a fortune on it.
    • Max Stamina Bonus
      Stamina is pretty important so I like this one over the mana buff usually.
    • Sacrifice
      The best heal other spell in the game. Combine this with heal other for super fast heals. Aim for the back.
  • Water
    • Clear Thoughts
      Self int buff. Makes all your spells better. A keeper!
    • Cold Shield
      Self buff for cold. You will rarely use this.
    • Delayed Shot
      Ranged slow debuff. Not that useful since unlike the melee debuff the guy is already avoiding you at a distance and this is not easy to hit with.
    • Frostbite
      Another ray spell. Not huge damage but it goes through some walls.
    • Gills
      Lets you breathe under water for a long time. Handy, but you don't need to level it much.
    • Ice Storm
      Once leveled it's a great field aoe that does low damage but blinds everything fairly well.
    • Icicle
      The ice bolt spell. Slow and ultra long range. Good in pve but not pvp.
    • Slow
      The melee attack speed reduction debuff. I personally like it a lot.
    • Toxic Rain
      Arguably the best field aoe in the game for damage. Unresistable.
    • Weakening Chill
      Ice damage debuff. Sort of good in pve but I don't know many mobs that I need it on.
  • Witchcraft
    • Exhaust
      An okay debuff that wrecks their stamina regen. Hard to hit with and isn't my first debuff choice.
    • Mana Leech
      The ray spell that takes time to cast and siphons mana. Can be useful in some situations but not really.
    • Pestilence
      The first debuff that is half decent. It drops their vitality (max hps) by a fair bit. Less effective against high end players. Extremely effective against non-capped players.
    • Stupidity
      The spell sucks but it costs 1 mandrake to cast so it's good for training purposes.
    • Tongue Rot
      A nice debuff that lasts a long time. It makes you fail your spells a lot more.
    • Witches Brew
      AOE heal. Not super powerful but critical for your self healing cycle. Definitely the best thing in witchcraft.
